A poetic creek, cold and clear. Ancient cedars standing guard. Trickles of spring water meandering down the hillside through drifts of soft scented wildflowers. The understory is calm and quiet. Even birds chirp in hushed tones. A sanctuary that has surely been a place of meditation through the ages. I hear the Sanborn calling. Or is she crying to be left alone?

#23 Sanborn Creek, Michigan
A poetic creek, cold and clear. Ancient cedars standing guard. Trickles of spring water meandering down the hillside through drifts of soft scented wildflowers. The understory is calm and quiet. Even birds chirp in hushed tones. A sanctuary that has surely been a place of meditation through the ages. I hear the Sanborn calling. Or is she crying to be left alone?
