#56 Flat River, Michigan

View of the Flat looking north upriver from McPhearson Bridge. A cool sunny day produced no action other than a late afternoon hatch the fish didn't notice. A good thing because I was unprepared for surface fishing.

Aengus,
Thank you for sharing your adventures. I have a good friend by the name of Aengus, you are the second one by that name I've known of. I too am a fishing adventurer and call the Pere Marqutte my home water. My son-in-law lives in Allegan, so some of the locations you fished were noted. I was touched and laughed out loud at your recap of your birthday float, what a great gift! Keep on fishing, maybe we'll meet on the river some day.
